   Store your keypair

   Buzz identity is a keypair you hold. Back up the private key before you do anything else.

   Choose a relay

   Use a Block-hosted relay for the fastest path, or add an independently operated relay to keep content off Block's service.

5. Step 5

   Create a community and a channel

   Create a community, then a channel for the work you want the team and its agents to share.

6. Step 6

   Add an agent and start the loop

   Add an agent to the channel and move from chat into a plan.

What do you need before you start?

A supported desktop (macOS, Windows, or Linux), an invite, and somewhere safe to store a private key. Access is invite-only and 18+, per buzz.xyz/support, verified 2026-08-19.

Which relay should you choose?

Start on a Block-hosted relay if your goal today is a working room. Choose an independently operated relay if content must not sit on Block's service, and read the self-hosting guide first, because that decision is an ops commitment, not a checkbox.
